EXCHANGE POLICY

Roopkala Heritage is committed to ensuring full customer satisfaction with respect to the products available on our website, security & customer assistance. However, if you are not happy with the product, you may only choose to exchange the order.

NOTE: In case of international orders, we do not currently accept any returns, refunds or exchange of our products that have been shipped internationally, except for those cases where a defective product has been delivered. You may exchange the defective product, in unused and in the same condition as you received it, in its original packaging, along with the invoice for an exchange. You are required to report the defect within 72 hours or 3 days of receipt of the product either by calling us on +91 7506000078 or writing to us on website@roopkalasarees.com For the refund on the returned defective product please check the section on exchange below.

  1. How do I initiate the exchange process?
  2. You may return any item purchased from Roopkala Heritage if you find that the same is damaged or defective upon receipt.
  3. If there is an issue in respect of the size, the item will be eligible for exchange or replacement for a bigger or smaller size.  In case, the desired piece is not in stock, the customer will be issued with a credit note that can be utilised online on our website.
  4. The product does not match the description on the website.
  5. The product purchased by you is delivered later than the estimated delivery schedule, except where such delay is on account of unforeseeable circumstances out of Roopkala Heritage’s control or any other force majeure.
  • In what cases will return/exchange NOT be accepted?
  • If the outfit purchased is from the sale/discounted section
  • If the garment has been altered or customized as per the customer’s request
  • If the garment has been damaged, destroyed, torn, stained, etc.
  • If the customer is based outside India, returns and exchanges will not be accepted
  • Roopkala Heritage products are made of fabrics that are hand dyed and hence, may be prone to shrinkage and colour bleed. Garments being returned for colour bleed and for not following proper wash instructions, consequently leading to damage to the Garment will not be accepted.

NOTE: All our products are handmade involving various processes. There is bound to be slight variations in colour, finish and overall look. The colours you see on our website will depend on the accuracy of your monitor or display for which subtle variations must be acknowledged.

NOTE: We shall not entertain any request after 72 hours or 3 days from the date of receipt of the product.

  • What is the process for exchanges?
  • If the product is not from the discounted section & eligible for exchange, you may write to us at website@roopkalasarees.com or WhatsApp us on +91 7506000078 within 3 working days or 72 working hours of delivery to request an exchange.
  • The Roopkala Heritage team will acknowledge the same. The outfit must be couriered back to us.  Roopkala Heritage will not be responsible for any shipment lost in transit.
  • The cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable. We recommend returning items through traceable mail.

  • Only products which are unused, unwashed, undamaged, with all its labels and tags completely intact, in its original packaging are eligible for exchange. Products that are found to be worn, used, damaged or soiled will NOT BE ACCEPTED for exchange under any circumstance whatsoever.
  • Please do note, that exchange is allowed once per order
  • Store credit will be given equal to the amount of the exchanged product
  • If an error occurs in spite of our best efforts, the extra shipping cost incurred to return the product will be refunded.  In any other case, the Shipping Charges and other expenses would be borne by the customer.
  • Can I exchange or cancel an international order?
  • Please note that international orders are NOT ELIGIBLE for returns/cancellations or exchanges.
  • Can I exchange a product that I bought online with another item at the store?
  • Exchanges for outfits bought online are eligible to be exchanged at our physical stores, subject to availability of the product, subject to the exchanged product being of the same or higher value of the online purchase.
  •   Procedure for special orders / customised products?
  • In case you are dissatisfied with the customized product, minor alterations towards fitting will be done without any extra cost for the first alteration and within 30 days from date of purchase.
  • When will I receive my refund once I return the item?
  • We shall process the refund once we receive the product and verify the contents thereof. The product must be in unused condition, in its original packaging along with its original tags and invoice, failing which refund may not be possible.
  • Once the garment is received and inspected by our QA (Quality Assurance) team, the refund will be initiated and will be refunded to the source account within 7-10 working days.
  • Refund will only be issued to your bank account which must be provided to us via email sent on website@roopkalasarees, which will be credited to the user’s account maintained with Roopkala Heritage within 7-10 working days.

Roopkala Heritage does not offer any returns or refunds.  Only products that are not available with us for any reason whatsoever, any incorrect product being delivered or products which have any defect in quality, colour, embroidery or fabric, will be refunded.  The refund will be processed only on us received the product and verifying the same.
